Notes on the VirtualParks Prints |
||
Maximizing print lifetime: don't put your prints in direct sunlight. Exposure to sun will fade and/or otherwise damage almost any photo, print, or art. When framing prints, the use of UV glass can help protect the print from the harmful aspects of regular exposure to light. DPC Prints Quality: I have ordered and personally inspected several different sizes of the DPC Prints, and found them to be the best panoramic prints I have ever seen. The weight of the paper, the quality of printing, and the paper's sheen all look and feel like traditional photographic prints. Shopping carts: VirtualParks does not have a shopping cart system -- but DPC Prints does. So once you are on their site, adding a print to your shopping cart works like most popular e-commerce websites. Their shopping cart is fairly non-volatile -- you can add a print to your shopping cart there, come back to my gallery, look around, then return to DPC Prints and not lose your earlier shopping cart contents. Your shopping cart doesn't forgot items placed in it for a period of at least 24 hours. Recommended display settings for viewing the Print Gallery: for most accurate results please set your monitor to at least 1024 x 768 and 24-bit color (if possible). Thumbnail lightness or lack thereof: the print gallery images may seem a little dark on some PCs. This is due to the fact that PC's monitor gamma is different than Mac monitor gamma. The actual print will have a lightness value that matches what I saw at the scene. If you are interested in a framed print of any of these images, contact me. |
