About the Image

I was on the Yosemite Falls trail headed for Eagle Peak. You could hear a dull roaring before even seeing Yosemite Falls. Not long after turning a large corner on the trail, the first good views of Yosemite Falls opened up and I could not resist photographing this incredible view containing Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and Yosemite Valley.

The image has a 4:1 aspect ratio. A border is provided to make framing easier. The width of the border is 3/8 inch per edge on a 12 inch tall print.

Great care was put into building this image exclusively for printing purposes. The image was stitched together using 4000ppi scans, resulting in a superior quality original image comprised of over 30 million pixels.

DPC Prints, the print vendor who fulfills your order, uses a Poli LaserLab to print on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper. This paper has been tested to last without fading for over 50 years. These prints are indistinguishable from regular silver-based photo prints.
