About the Image
This is the view after ascending the
infamous 99 switchbacks on the climb up Mt. Whitney. Prior to
this point, the view only extends out
to
Lone Pine. From Trail Crest you can see down to Guitar Lake and
out to many ranges of High Sierra peaks to the west. I rested
here for 45 minutes, then tackled the summit.
The
image has a 3:1 aspect ratio. A border is provided to make
framing easier. The
width of the border is 3/8 inch per edge on a 12 inch tall
print.

Quality
Great
care was put into building this image exclusively for printing
purposes. The
image was stitched together using 4000ppi scans, resulting
in a superior quality original image comprised of over 30 million
pixels.
DPC Prints,
the print vendor who fulfills your order, uses a Poli LaserLab to
print
on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper. This paper has been tested
to last without fading for over 50 years. These prints are
indistinguishable from regular silver-based photo prints.
