About the Image
This panorama was shot from atop a fallen log
in Portola Redwoods State Park in Northern California. I had gotten
up at 4:00AM to get an early start on the Peters Creek Loop.
When
I got to Bear Creek, the light was just perfect to show everything
under the canopy of this lush old-growth redwood forest.
The
image has a 4:1 aspect ratio. A border is provided to make
framing easier. The
width of the border is 3/8 inch per edge on a 12 inch tall
print.
This image has been in all my exhibits. |

Quality
Great
care was put into building this image exclusively for printing
purposes. The
image was stitched together using 4000ppi scans, resulting
in a superior quality original image comprised of over 30 million
pixels.
DPC Prints,
the print vendor who fulfills your order, uses a Poli LaserLab to
print
on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper. This paper has been tested
to last without fading for over 50 years. These prints are
indistinguishable from regular silver-based photo prints.
