About the Image

Lake Ediza is set in a stunning location near Mt. Ritter, the Minarets and Shadow Lake in the Ansel Adams Wilderness in the California High Sierras. I remembered the lake from my first John Muir Trail trip many years ago, and it was just as beautiful as I recalled it.

The image has a 3:1 aspect ratio. A border is provided to make framing easier. The width of the border is 3/8 inch per edge on a 12 inch tall print.

Print Quality

Great care was put into building this image exclusively for printing purposes. The image was stitched together using 4000ppi scans, resulting in a superior quality original image comprised of over 30 million pixels.

DPC Prints, the print vendor who fulfills your order, uses a Poli LaserLab to print on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper. This paper has been tested to last without fading for over 50 years. These prints are indistinguishable from regular silver-based photo prints.
