About the Image
In the Fall of 1997 I roamed up and down the
eastern Sierra Nevada looking for aspens in peak color. On a
hunch, one day I headed up to Green Lake. Green Creek had many
aspens turning color. This scene was slightly off the trail,
and the entire creekside was bathed in yellow aspenlight.
The
image has a 4:1 aspect ratio. A border is provided to make
framing easier. The
width of the border is 3/8 inch per edge on a 12 inch tall
print.
This panorama has been in all my exhibits.
