About the Image

East Lake is a beautiful, remote mountain lake in Toiyabe National Forest in the California Sierra. After many miles of strenuous hiking from the trailhead, I ambled alongside the lake for awhile before finding the viewpoint I wanted.

The image has a 4:1 aspect ratio. A border is provided to make framing easier. The width of the border is 3/8 inch per edge on a 12 inch tall print.

You can choose from the following paper sizes: 24 inches wide x 6 inches tall ($20), or 48 inches x 12 inches ($40). The copyright notice does not appear on the print.

Print Quality

Great care was put into building this image exclusively for printing purposes. The image was stitched together using 4000ppi scans, resulting in a superior quality original image comprised of over 30 million pixels.

DPC Prints, the print vendor who fulfills your order, uses a Poli LaserLab to print on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper. This paper has been tested to last without fading for over 50 years. These prints are indistinguishable from regular silver-based photo prints.
