About the Image
This sweeping panorama showing the Alps from
the Aiguille du Midi viewing platform was shot in July
2003. There are dozens
if
not
hundreds of famous peaks visible, including the Matterhorn, Mont
Blanc, Mont Blanc du Tacul, Monte Rosa, and Gran Paradiso. The
tiny dots down in the snowfield are mountain climbers on their
way to Mont Blanc.
The
image has a 3:1 aspect ratio. A border is provided to make
framing easier. The
width of the border is 3/8 inch per edge on a 12 inch tall
print.

in a superior quality original image comprised of over 30 million
pixels.
DPC Prints,
the print vendor who fulfills your order, uses a Poli LaserLab to
print
on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper. This paper has been tested
to last without fading for over 50 years. These prints are
indistinguishable from regular silver-based photo prints.
